Jersey Reds and Guernsey Raiders are gearing up for a very special Siam Cup, as the inter-island rugby competition finally gets its centenary match next weekend.
The Cup, which is the second oldest rugby trophy in the world, will be fought for next Saturday (6 November), having seen three postponements throughout 2020 and 2021.
The event will be hosted by Guernsey Raiders, across three fixtures taking place at Footes Lane:

Cliff Chipperfield, Jersey Reds Chair of Amateur Rugby, said: "We're very much looking forward to renewing this old rivalry and seeing everybody come together to watch the match in Guernsey.
"It's set to be a brilliant day, packed with a great community crowd, so we'd encourage everyone to come down and enjoy the fun."
Chris Gnapp, Guernsey Raiders Sponsorship Director, added: "It's been two and a half years since the last Siam Cup matches took place so we're more than ready to reignite the inter-island rivalry.
"The community of Guernsey are always so supportive towards the Raiders and we are delighted to finally be able to put on this event for them – may the best team win!"
