Christmas Market returns to Royal Square

Thursday 25 November 2021

Christmas arrives in Royal Square today, with the return of the ‘Simply Christmas’ market.

The market from Genuine Jersey is to be held over two weekends, and will see more than 60 Jersey artisans bring their food and gifts to the stalls.

Genuine Jersey Chief Executive John Garton said: "We can't wait to bring back the Simply Christmas Genuine Jersey markets to the Royal Square.

"With hot food, drinks, and a programme of live music and entertainment throughout both weekends, the markets will be the perfect place to buy unique gifts directly from the artisans who have created and produced them while soaking up the atmosphere and embracing the festive cheer.

"It wouldn't be possible for us to host the markets without input from local businesses Fetch.Je, TEAM and Signtech, as sponsors their contribution is invaluable and allows us to support our Members by providing them with this excellent platform to share and sell their work."

The opening times for the markets will be:

Thursday 25 Nov & 2 Dec 10:00 - 20:00 (late night shopping in St Helier)
Friday 26 Nov & 3 Dec 10:00 - 18:00
Saturday 27 Nov & 4 Dec 10:00 - 18:00
Sunday 28 Nov and 5 Dec 10:00 - 17:00

6pm finish Friday, woooooooooooooowwwwwwww party time. Let's all be at home by 18:30pm.Jersey so rock n roll at Christmas. I'm sure they are copying UK and Europe as I'm almost 100% sure their Christmas markets would close at the same time.
