The work to prepare Condor Ferries’ new state-of-the-art fast ferry, Condor Liberation, is on track with the ship nearly ready to take up service on her route between the Channel Islands and Poole.
This week, naming competition winner Clive Davies and his wife Julie from Guernsey, were invited to see the name of the ship being painted on. Recognising the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Channel Islands, Condor Liberation was just one of over 7,000 entries received in the naming competition that ran in the Channel Islands late last year.
From the end of March, all fast ferry travel to the Channel Islands will be on Condor Liberation from Poole. Condor says the £50m, 102-metre ferry will offer improved reliability, increased capacity, and a much greater level of comfort with smoother journeys.
