A statement from Condor today said: “Regrettably, Condor Liberation’s cross channel service on Saturday has been cancelled due to the predicted wave height being in excess of the legal limits for High Speed Craft operation.
“The current maximum wave height limit for all high speed craft is 3.5m and the predicted wave heights for Saturday in the English Channel are in excess of 4m.”
Commodore Clipper is sailing as scheduled and passenger capacity has been increased to accommodate disrupted passengers. Condor Rapide, which operates in more sheltered waters, is expected to sail as scheduled.
Passengers booked to travel on Liberation will be offered alternative travel where possible. Customers are advised to contact our customer services team on 0345 609 1024 for alternative options.
