A 40-year-old cyclist had to be taken to A&E after being hit by a car during the morning rush-hour.
The collision between the bicycle and blue Toyota, which was driven by a 68-year-old man, occurred at 08:49 on the junction of Plat Douet and Green Road.
Emergency Services were alerted, with Police and paramedics arriving shortly after.
The cyclist suffered facial injuries in the crash and was taken to A&E by ambulance.
The road was closed while the casualty was tended to and the area made safe. It was reopened at 09:30.
Police confirmed afterwards that no one was arrested or charged.
