Police are seeking witnesses to yesterday’s crash involving a multi-million Ferrari Enzo and a Honda Jazz on Victoria Avenue.
The collision took place around 11:30, opposite La Motte Ford.
Officers confirmed this morning that, "thankfully, no one suffered any serious injury".
The road had to be closed for some time, while the red Ferrari, which carried a Guernsey numberplate, and Jersey-registered silver Honda were investigated, leading to significant tailbacks leading all the way to the Waterfront. Both cars had to be towed from the area.
Due to the rare nature of the Ferrari involved, the crash drew significant attention on social media. There are only several hundred models in the world, and the car has one of the most sophisticated engines in the Ferrari family of cars.
Anyone who saw what happened or who has more information is being asked to come forward.
Police ask them to call 612612 or make an anonymous report via the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form.
