A 64-year-old woman who shouted, swore, screamed and started to strip has been put on probation for six months.
The Magistrate's Court heard that Gwen Mogey had shouted abuse at her neighbours and police and began to take her clothes off in public, in offences committed over the summer.
Legal Adviser Harrison Gollop, prosecuting, said that on 3 June, just before 1am, Mogey had been shouting, swearing and screaming outside the block of flats in St Brelade where she lived.
Then on 20 August, at 10.20am, she was shouting and swearing on the communal patio area while drunk. The police were called and Mr Gollop told the court: “She started taking her clothes off, stripping and nearly exposing herself.”
Mogey has previous convictions for similar offences in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
She admitted the specific charges of being drunk and disorderly, engaging in disorderly behaviour and acting in a manner likely to cause a breach of the peace.
