Police are appealing for anyone who may have information regarding the sunken L’Ecume II trawler which collided with the Condor Commodore Goodwill last month.
An independent investigation into the incident was launched earlier this week to establish any potential criminal culpability.
Officers are also being supported by the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency with the case.
The L'Ecume II, skippered by Michael Michieli, sank after colliding with Condor's Commodore Goodwill freight ship off Jersey's west coast at around 5.30am on Thursday 8 December.
On Boxing Day, officers confirmed that two bodies recovered from the wreck by an unmanned craft several days after the incident were those of Filipino crewmen Jervis Ramirez Baligat and Larry Simyunn who are due to be repatriated after an inquest into their deaths opened and was subsequently adjourned this morning.
The body of the boat’s skipper, Michael ‘Mick’ Michieli, was never found despite extensive searches, which concluded last week.

In a statement released this afternoon, the States of Jersey Police said they "would like to hear from anyone with any relevant information relating to the collision who may have seen it, or that may have spoken to anyone involved on the morning of Thursday 8 December."
Officers added that anyone who might be able to help should call 612612 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form at Crimestoppers-uk.org.
