Tickets are running low for the Weekender festival which will get islanders rocking to the tunes of a "world class line up of acts," including Rita Ora, Dizzee Rascal and Rag'n'Bone Man, all weekend long.
Festival goers will get to enter the Royal Jersey Showground from 12:00 today to hear the festival's many musical acts.
Dizzee Rascal's fans apparently rushed to get their hands on a ticket to see the artist who is described as one of the "godfathers of grime." Weekender marks Dizzee's return to Jersey nearly 10 years after its gig at the now defunct Jersey Live. Unfortunately, tickets for Saturday are now sold out but if you have missed out on your chance to see Dizzee go 'Bonkers' on stage, it is still possible to buy weekend ones.
Dizzee will share the main stage with Rag'n'Bone Man, Big Shaq, The Beat, the Sherlocks and Lucy Spraggan.

There are still some tickets left to see chart-topping British singer Rita Ora grace the Main Stage on Sunday. She will be joined by Sigrid, Mabel and disco legends Sister Sledge in what is definitely a female-strong line up. Of the singing siblings duo, Weekender organisers said: "There are only a handful of acts that can truly cross generational divides and get a huge audience singing and dancing in unison. Weekender is a festival for all the family and we want to present acts that get our whole crowd on their feet and into a festival spirit.
"When it comes to infectious music that you can't help tapping your feet to, who better to make 'Everybody Dance' than the incredible, iconic Sister Sledge. The original multi-lead vocal girl group will play Weekender's Sunday 'Legends' spot, ensuring Weekenders get truly'Lost in Music'."
The Jungle Brothers will complete the day's mix with their hip hop vibes.
Other acts have also been announced to perform on the Dance Stage and at the Delta Vip Voodoo Lounge. Local acts will also be showcased on the Appleby 'Made In Jersey Stage.' From Mozaics to the Pirates, Howl and Lauren Ivy, 16 local bands and music acts will take to the stage to perform during the weekend
This year's festival marks Weekender's second edition. It was set up last year by former Jersey Live organiser Warren Le Sueur, after it was announced that the much-loved island music event would be coming to an end after 13 years.
Organisers have promised an "extra special" weekend for all with "lots of different layout changes." The Festival site will include a "WeeKinder" zone for young music lovers. Sitas Circus, Love Theatre, Street Angels Street Band & Graffiti, the Jersey Lillies and many other performers will be on deck to entertain.
Writing on their Facebook page, organisers said Weekender was "not just a music and entertainment fest." "Weekender also prides itself for offering the very best local food vendors," they added. "The tastiest of them all will be offering their special menus to cater for all tastes and dietary desires... From WildHealth to Goodstone pizza ... we have it covered."
