Police are appealing for help in catching whoever started a fire near a children's play area last night.
The fire happened between 22:30 and 22:45 damaging a bin and fencing at the Don Farm children's play area.
Jersey Police say a "distinctive" 25-litre jerry can was left at the scene, and are appealing for witnesses.
Anyone with any information can call the police on 612612 or anonymously on Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
