A local charity is looking for volunteers to dish up and deliver food to elderly islanders and vulnerable families.
Meals on Wheels Jersey, which has been running since 1962, delivers around 100 meals per day, four days a week.
The charity has issued a plea for four to five new volunteers.
It comes after around six drivers and meal preparers retired when Meals on Wheels relocated from Overdale Hospital to the Enid Quenault Centre.
Volunteers are needed to dish food into containers at the Enid Quenault Centre at Les Quennevais Park between 9:00 and 11:00 from Tuesday to Friday.
Drivers are also needed to deliver the prepared meals to recipients for a few hours once a fortnight.
Anyone interested in volunteering can email: mowdrivers.jersey@yahoo.co.uk.
