Police are seeking witnesses to an incident of what they describe as 'malicious damage' after graffiti stating "fear is the pandemic" and "love > fear" was sprayed on the sea wall.

In an appeal for more information, they said: "Police are appealing for information following graffiti being sprayed on the South side of the sea wall to the East of the Gunsite slipway.

"The graffiti was discovered on the 14th May 2020.

"The graffiti consisted of the words 'LOVE>FEAR' and 'FEAR IS THE PANDEMIC' along with the image of wings.

"Yellow and white spray paint was used to cause these marks."

Anyone with more information can contact the Police by calling 612612 or making an anonymous report using the Crimestoppers website.
