The owner of a popular café in Gorey has expressed her gratitude to customers and former staff members as she retires after 22 years in the business.
Café Poste owner, Mary Bolton expressed her gratitude, stating that "it has been lovely".
To say goodbye, a clearance sale will be held over the upcoming long weekend – 10:00 to 16:00 each day from Saturday to Monday.
The sale will feature a diverse selection of items including catering equipment, furniture, fixtures, and ornaments; an excellent opportunity for those in the catering business who are in need of commercial kitchen equipment at a discounted price.
Numerous comments can be found on a Jersey community Facebook group extending well wishes to Mary on her retirement and reminiscing about the high-quality food and service at the cafe.
One individual said: "It was my favourite restaurant, such a lovely place with delicious food."
