Visitors will need tickets to enjoy the second part of the event, after 21:00. The evening event is set to make Jersey history as A Band Called O, who played on popular music show, ‘The Old Grey Whistle Test’ back in the 1970’s, will be re-forming for a special one-off performance at the Watersplash. After over 40 years since they last played together, the band will take to the stage for an evening set to be an extraordinary mix of Jersey legends and the local creative scene.

The stage and downstairs diner will be shared with a lineup of local bands, musicians and DJ’s, including Electric Brick, Brave Yesterday, The Engine and Howl. There are limited tickets available, 600, and they can be bought online.

As hosts of the event, the Watersplash have embraced new policies to reduce single use plastics and recycle waste ahead of hosting the event. On the day, all cups will be reusable souvenir ECO Cups, each costing £2. They have also made steps to ensure an ongoing legacy. These include switching to biodegradable straws - only issued upon request - and takeaway packaging, more polycarbonate glasses and cornstarch cups and replacing all condiment sachets with squeezy bottles. They have also pledged to recycle all aluminium cans by donating to Durrell's ‘Cans for Corridors’. Cans, cardboard and cooking oil is collected by Les Amis Recycling Team.

Matt Seymour, Operations Coordinator for Seymour Group, who owns the Watersplash, said: “As a surfing family business it is important we take responsibility for ensuring our beautiful beaches and the ecosystem are protected. We continue to take a proactive stance to reducing our single use plastics and waste across the group.

"We look forward to celebrating our breathtaking location and hosting Off The Hook, that promises to be a memorable day of beach side entertainment to support good causes.”
