Newcomer Rowland Huelin has beaten Sean Creavy for the Deputy seat in St. Peter with 991 votes to 551.

The total turnout in St. Peter was 44% in the Deputies election.

Huelin will replace Deputy Kristina Moore, who is standing for Senator and made the top two in Express exit poll.

A total of 1,544 votes were cast in St. Peter, a turnout of 44%,  with 17 votes spoiled.
