25 of Jersey’s premier restaurants have each submitted 2 recipes, which combine to form the ‘Slice of Jersey’ cookbook.
Longueville Manor, Lazin Lizard and Cheffins at Beaumont are some of the restaurants that will help contribute to the creation of the book.
Articles on local producers will accompany the recipes given by each restaurant, encouraging the use of organic and local Jersey produce.
The concept for the book stemmed from ‘Slice of Kent’, a recently published cookbook with a similar concept by David Pearce.

David previously worked at a Michelin starred restaurant, but later progressed into a photography business and found himself publishing books for fellow professionals. He has now decided to dive right back into the publishing business with his 'Slice of' series.
Catherine Hill, a local photographer was David’s inspiration for the creation of 'Slice of Jersey', along with Jersey’s vibrant food scene.
