Sunday 04 September 2016

Ghosts and ghouls are being invited to grab their glad rags as L’Horizon is hosting a Halloween themed ball on Saturday, October 29th to raise money for RNLI Jersey.

The team at the AA four Silver Star hotel are aiming for a turnout of around 120 guests and £15 from the cost of each £75 ticket sold will be donated directly to RNLI Jersey.

The ‘spooktacular’ event takes place in the Crystal Room at the hotel, commencing with arrival drinks at 7.30pm followed by a three course dinner.

Guests can do the ‘monster mash’ as they can dance to a disco and live band until 2am. There will also be a fun casino and prizes for the best fancy dress.

Pamela Butler, Chairman of RNLI Jersey Lifeboat Guild and L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa, said: “We’re delighted to invite everyone to come along and enjoy this fabulous fundraising event. We would be thrilled if people could join us and help us to raise money in order to support the wonderful things that RNLI Jersey do, whilst enjoying a great night out with friends or colleagues!”

Commenting on the decision to support RNLI Jersey in 2016, Simon Miller, General Manager of L’Horizon Beach Hotel and Spa said: “We are pleased and immensely proud to support RNLI in the fantastic work they do both on and offshore around the island. Obviously, due to our location directly on the beach at St Brelade’s Bay and the fact that so many of our guests enjoy the Bay we felt that this partnership was a natural fit. We hope that lots of people will join us on the 29th for what will surely be an entertaining evening and of course we hope to raise much needed funds for our chosen charity.”
