The search is resuming this morning for a twenty-year-old man who went missing over the weekend prompting a full search by emergency services, Channel Island Air Search, divers and sniffer dogs.
Police say they are becoming increasingly concerned for the safety of Adrian Lynch, who was last seen in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Chief Inspector Lee Turner has appealed for anyone in St Lawrence, St Mary and St John to check their properties - including any outbuildings and land - to help find Adrian and bring him home safely.
"Adrian is a fit and healthy young man and we still believe that there is a chance that he is alive somewhere, possibly trapped or hurt.
"We would ask anyone in those areas to check their property, and if you have done it once, please check again.
"If you are concerned about anything or want us to check for you then please call us on 612612."
The police have underlined that there is still no indication of any crime having been committed.
The Channel Islands' Air Search plane was part of a massive search effort involving five different agencies which took place throughout the day yesterday - but the emergency services still hadn't found Mr Lynch before darkness fell.
He was last seen after a work night out at the Merton Hotel on Friday evening, after which he got a taxi back to the Six Roads area of St Lawrence at around midnight. A man matching Mr Lynch's description was then seen just after one 'o' clock in La Rue de La Golarde heading west towards Garden Scene Nursery. The Police believe he was going towards La Rue de Bel Air.
He is 20 years old, of slim to proportionate build, with short straight black hair, and wearing a light blue suit and a white shirt.
Residents of St Lawrence, St Mary and St John are being urged to check their properties for any evidence as to where Mr Lynch may be.
