Man denies ‘serious’ assault accusation

Sunday 03 November 2019

A man, who denies committing a serious physical assault on a woman over the summer, is to face a Royal Court trial next year.

Przemyslaw Dominik Czarnecki (35) appeared in the Royal Court on Friday.

Represented by Advocate Giles Emmanuel, Mr Czarnecki pleaded ‘not guilty’ to the single charge of grave and criminal assault.

It’s alleged that the 35-year-old physically assaulted the woman on or around 4 August this year at a property in St. Helier.

Bailiff Tim Le Cocq presided over the hearing, accompanied by Jurats Jane Ronge and Steven Austin-Vautier.
