A 28-year-old man who was arrested following a suspected hit-and-run in which a father and son were killed has been released from custody.
The individual was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop, after Dean Lowe (48) and his 11-year-old son Charlie died after being hit by a vehicle as they walked along Rue de Fauvic in Grouville on Saturday night.
States police said this morning that the man has been released from custody on police bail to allow for further investigations to be carried out.
Anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage filmed in the area of Rue de Fauvic between 21:00 and 21:40 on Saturday is asked to call police on 612612 using option 2 then option 4 or call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form.
