Two Islanders have been honoured with the MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours.
Jurat Paul Liddiard and Dr Gari Purcell-Jones have both been made Member of the Order of the British Empire.
Jurat Liddiard’s citation was for “services to forensic and conventional dentistry in less developed countries”.
Dr Purcell-Jones’ citation was for “services to Jersey Hospice Care”.
