Getting to school, football, and local businesses in Trinity will take you longer when the parishes' main road is dug up for months next year.
Work is due to start on 9 January resurfacing La Route de la Trinite in the New Year and it won't be finished until April.
The work is being done in two sections between Old Trinity Hill and the southern end of La Route des Petits Camps, and between the Blacksmiths Arms and Rues es Picots.
The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) say the bit in the middle is still ok so won't be resurfaced yet.
The work will be done in phases starting from Rue es Picots working south and will be closed to through traffic during working hours from 09:15 until 18:00 from Monday to Friday but open at all other times.
You'll still be able to get to homes and businesses, although access will be restricted when the final road surface is being laid.
Diversions for through traffic will be via Hautes Croix and Queen’s Road or Maufant and Five Oaks.
The Route 4 bus will still be running, although the route and timetable may change depending on where the work is being done. This may also require the use of a free shuttle to connect services.
The phase outside of the primary school will be done during the February half term.
You can find out how the work is progressing next year and what diversions are in place on the DFI website.
