One in hospital and two in custody after ‘early-hours attack’

Two men are in custody after an alleged early-hours brawl in the Les Quennevais Park area that left one man in hospital with facial injuries.

Police said the reported assault took place around 02:00 this morning (Sunday 11 April).

Officers said in a statement: “It is believed that the incident occurred next to a vehicle that was parked on the grass area close to residential flats. One of the males incurred facial injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment and the car was also damaged during the incident.  

"Two males are currently in custody assisting Police with their enquiries."

The Force now wants to speak to people who saw what happened or heard a disturbance in the area , and are urging anyone with information to call 612612 or make an anonymous report using Crimestoppers’ online form.
