Police have issued a reminder to vehicle owners about the rules regarding black registration plates which can only be displayed on cars made before a specific date.
The reminder stated that black plates with white, silver or light grey digits can only be legally displayed on cars manufactured before 1 January 1976.
It came ahead of the International Motoring Festival this weekend which has seen an array of legendary cars on display.
The Infrastructure and Environment's 'Guide to Jersey Registration Plates' explains: "Black Plate With White, Silver or Light Grey Digits: May only be displayed on vehicles manufactured prior to 1st January 1976 and are not required to comply with the BSAU145e standard".
