Police want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed a woman-on-woman assault which took place in front of the main entrance of the Hospital on 4 January.
They believe a woman and a couple had a disagreement outside the hospital and that the woman then assaulted the other woman around 16:30.
The Police are also appealing for information about a separate incident which took place on Hilgrove Street (French Lane) in the early hours of New Year's Day.
It involved two men in their early 20s who were allegedly involved in a fight. The police believe that members of the public helped separate the men.

Neither of the men sustained serious injury, but one was arrested at the scene.
