Can you help solve Mount Bingham assault case?

Did you see an old man being assaulted by two young men on the outskirts of town earlier this week?

The Police are appealing for help after receiving reports from two witnesses of an alleged assault they say took place on Tuesday morning at about 11.20 am on South Hill at the junction with Mount Bingham.

They want anyone who knows anything - including the victim - to come forward and help them to investigate.

The witnesses reported that the two men approached a man in a woolly hat and think that they may have assaulted him.

The man hasn’t reported the incident himself so his injuries are not known but anyone with any information is asked to contact the police on 612612 or anonymously on 0800 555 111.
