Three young siblings are getting active this weekend to help vulnerable people around the world.
Sam, Tom and Hannah Sterry, who are all at primary school, are walking, swimming and cycling miles to raise money for Sport Relief.
Six-year-old Hannah is walking around 14 miles along the coast from Les Fontaines in St John to Le Braye in St Ouen.
Her twin brother Tom is pedalling his way from Gorey to Corbière while their big brother, eight-year-old Sam, is making a big splash - swimming 5,000 metres at Les Quennevais pool.
The children have been raising money for Sport Relief since they were toddlers when they ran, skipped and jumped their way round a mile-long course and two years ago they were in action again and together raised over £1,200 walking, swimming and cycling smaller distances than they plan to do this weekend.
The Sterry’s have set themselves a target of raising £1,500 and are already well on their way to reaching it. They've have been watching videos of how the money is spent and how £30 can help a woman living in poverty in Kenya start a business.
Sam (8) said: "We can help people who have to pick up litter to live and get hurt, or people with no homes. I feel sad for children who have to work to stay alive, and they don't get to play or smile much"
Tom (6) said: "If I do the bike ride and people pay money, it will go to children who don't have houses, mummy's and daddy's and food...AND, I'll get fit and strong with big muscles!"
Hannah (6) said: "I can help get more money, and they'll give it to people that need it so they can live better."
They'll all be getting some extra training in before the weekend when they join their classmates at St John's School for a day of sport. Every class will be getting active on Friday for Sport Relief which supports a range of charities - providing education in developing countries, giving them access to mental health services and life-saving vaccines for children as well as supporting people with dementia and caring for homeless people around the world.
Tom and Hannah will get to put their dribbling, balancing, racing and flipping skills to the test while Sam's class will be competing in a Hand Ball tournament.
