Traffic will be backed up heading in and out of town during half-term next month when one of the Island's busiest roads is being fixed.
The stretch of St Aubin's Inner Road from Tyneville Lane, the cut-through from Victoria Avenue, to Bellozanne Road, is being resurfaced.
The work starts on Sunday 23 October when the road will be completely closed off at night between 19:00 and 23:00 and on Sundays. During the day there will be extra traffic lights on the road between 09:15 and 15:00.
People will still be able to get to their homes and businesses although the Department for Infrastructure say this may be restricted when the final road surface is being laid.
Traffic will be diverted via Victoria Avenue and there will be temporary bus stops at First Tower.
The work is due to finish on Friday 4 November.
