This Autumn has got off to a sunny start – with last month the fifth sunniest September on record.
We basked in over 250 hours of sunshine, up almost a third on the 30 year average and can expect to see some more this weekend with temperatures reaching 18 on Saturday and 19 on Sunday.
There was a bit of a nip in the air though with temperatures around 15.4 degrees - a bit cooler than the average recorded over the last 30 years.
Records began in 1894 at the Maison St. Louis Observatory.
