The weather's looking a bit average for this time of year but it should stay mainly dry, with sunshine, good surf and very few showers for the rest of the week and the weekend.
The good news is we’re not likely to see anything like last week’s storms when according to Jersey Met two thirds of the average month’s rainfall fell in just 24 hours, causing flooding in some parts of the Island.
Duty Forecaster Mark Le Cornu said: "In Jersey there was 30 mls in one go – that’s a fair amount – two thirds of the average month’s rainfall fell in 24 hours."
The foggy end to yesterday is still hanging around this morning but he said this week is looking a lot drier: “This fairly quiet weather is set to continue, pretty much average for the rest of this week, in essence dry a little bit of rain and drizzle, wind from the North West so light to moderate but all fairly average. Friday will probably be the warmest day 18 to 20 degrees but there will only be a degree or so in it."
It might not be scorching on the beach but things are hotting up for surfers on the water. Jersey's RNLI have tweeted we're "due for an increase in surf".
