The Government has confirmed that there have been two more cases of covid-19 among secondary school students.
On 21 June, they said a pupil at Les Quennevais and a pupil at Victoria College had contracted the virus.
Last week, three students were recorded as having the virus - the Government said that one of those cases was from D'Auvergne Primary School, and another at Victoria College.
As of yesterday, there was a total of 59 people officially confirmed as having covid-19, with 43 showing symptoms.
Between Friday and Monday, they said that 12 new cases had been identified - five were people seeking healthcare, five were inbound travellers and two were picked up in the contact tracing process.
882 people are in isolation, having been identified as direct contacts.
It's understood that an announcement could be made this week regarding a change in contact tracing policy for double vaccinated people. Public Health were tasked with reviewing the move last week and STAC were asked to consider it.
As of last Wednesday, 51,610 people were fully vaccinated.
One third of people the youngest eligible age category (18-29) have received their first dose, while 9% have received their second jab.
