WANTED: Trustees with a taste for the arts

Saturday 24 October 2020

A local charity that supports artists to create work that has a positive impact on the community is on the hunt for two trustees to join its board.

ArtHouse Jersey is looking for applicants who have an enthusiasm for any branch of the arts as well as expertise in fundraising, financial management or governance.

"Finding the right people for these non-executive, honorary positions, is key to the charity’s future as the new Trustees will be instrumental in helping the organisation deliver a meaningful impact across the community through the arts," the team said.

"This is a great opportunity to give back to the community and contribute to the achievement of a charity’s strategic objectives."

The Board holds quarterly meetings along with an annual strategy day and the roles are voluntary.

Despite the challenges currently being posed by the pandemic, ArtHouse Jersey said the new recruits would be joining during "an exciting period of evolution and expansion" as the charity is currently working on expanding the breadth and quality of their programme.

Anyone interested in the role should contact Arthouse Jersey before Friday 6 November. Interviews will take place on 26 and 27 November.
