The 2023 edition of the Battle of Flowers "ended on a high" with Saturday's Moonlight Parade drawing almost 10,000 people, according to organiser Russell Labey.
A tribute to the late Battle of Flowers legend Peter Heath was the biggest winner of this year's event, with the Parish of St Clement's taking home the top prize for their 1920s-themed float 'Puttin' on the Ritz'.

Though rainy weather left audiences and performances alike soaked through after Friday's Grand Day Parade, the high quality of floats and music meant everyone pulled together and left with a smile.

Friday's event was attended by just under 7,000 people – with the rain being a likely factor in people not buying tickets on the door – and Saturday's was attended by just under 10,000.

The Moonlight Parade was arguably the highlight of the weekend, with illuminated floats, even more involvement from Notting Hill Carnival Mas band Flagz, and a 100-drone show honouring The Beatles' 1963 Jersey concert.
