Wanting to learn how to surf this summer, whilst raising a bit of cash for charity? Then the White Collar Surfing Competition might be for you.
The third instalment of the White Collar Surfing Competition is currently open for sign-ups, with interested islanders being offered the chance to learn how to surf while also doing their bit for a worthy local charity.
The competition is organised by Le Rossignol Estates, with all proceeds set to go to Healing Waves - a local charity which helps those with disabilities to safely take part in water sports.
The entry fee is £600, and includes 12 lessons on Tuesdays or Thursdays and Saturdays with Splash Surf Centre.

The training period will culminate in 'Surf Fest', a surf competition and day at the WaterSplash with music, stalls, food and drinks.
A Branded t-shirt, hoodie, cap, jacket and bag are included, along with prizes in men's and women's categories and to the top fundraiser. All equipment is provided.
Training starts on 12 May, and the 'Surffest' will take place on 12 August.
In 2022, The White Collar Surf Competition raised £24,955.94 for Healing Waves. This year, they are hoping to raise more than £30,000, which would cover the operating costs at Healing Waves for an entire year.
