We're in for a scorcher today and it looks set to be the hottest day of the year so far with temperatures likely to reach 26 degrees.
Jersey Met say if it does get that hot it will beat the top temperature we had back in April.
Jersey Met's Duty Forecaster Joanna Chambers said: "The hottest day we've had so far was the 15 april and it was 25.2 so we're expecting 26 so that would be the hottest day this year.
She said there's a front coming in from the West on Friday though so we'll see more cloud and rain coming through and maybe some fog patches in the afternoon with the temperature back down to 20 degrees which is average for this time of year.
But things are looking better for the weekend.
She said: "As we get into the weekend it will be better, there will be more sun around, 22 for Saturday, 21 for Sunday and warm again on Monday when it will be 22 degrees."
The UV will be high at seven today and for most of the weekend so don't forget your suncream!
