Now that’s what I call music….

The Jersey Heritage Trust wants you to tell it what music it should play as a backing track at its upcoming exhibition looking back at the ‘80s.

It’s compiled its own mix tape to get the discussion going – and perhaps to prompt your memory – but it’s still keen for Islanders to get involved.

Amongst its suggestions: Madonna's Like a Virgin; Bon Jovi's Living on a Prayer; Culture Club's Karma Chameleon; and The Human League's Don't You Want Me?

According to one chart, the best selling single of the decade was Band Aid’s 1984 Do They Know it’s Christmas? It was followed by Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s 1983 Relax, and Stevie Wonder’s I Just Called to Say I Love You, also released in 1984.

If you have a suggestion for the Heritage Trust, you can contact them via Facebook.
