Police are seeking witnesses to an incident in which a young woman was allegedly racially abused by a teenage boy at the bus station.

Officers said the suspected case of ‘Disorderly Conduct and Harassment’ took place around 18:00 last Thursday (6 February).

Describing the reported sequence of events in an appeal for more information, they said: “A group of young females were walking through the bus station when one of them was racially abused by a male from another group, which included males and females ranging from 11 to 15 years old. 

“Police are keen to speak to anybody who may have seen this happen.”
