Your sneak peek at Burger King before tomorrow’s opening…

Thursday 02 June 2016

The public opening might not be until tomorrow morning, but here’s a preview of the new Burger King opening up opposite the Town Hall.

The new franchise is being run by SandpiperCI, who say that it has created 25 new jobs.

It will be open from 7 am to 11 pm from Monday to Saturday, and from 8 am to 10 pm on Sundays.

It’s looking like a good year for fast food chains – Domino’s Pizza has recently been given Planning permission to open premises in St Saviour’s Road, and they say that they will be up and running this Autumn.

When the Burger King plans were announced in January, Sandpiper CEO Tony O’Neill said: “Burger King is clearly very well-known and further demonstrates Sandpiper’s commitment to bring popular, quality brands to the Channel Islands.

“The York Street site in Jersey is ideally placed for passing trade and we’re hoping to support other traders in the Parade/York Street area with the increased footfall to our outlet.”
