Guernsey officially goes to the polls for its second fully island wide vote tomorrow, but a second ‘advance polling day’ today could see thousands of people cast their votes early.

Sunday was the first of two advance polling days with 1036 people choosing to complete their ballot papers at either Styx, Les Maingy, or Beau Sejour.

27,316 people in total have signed up to vote in Guernsey’s 2025 election.

An undisclosed number requested postal voting. Anyone who has opted for that but didn’t post their form back in time before tomorrow’s deadline can hand it in at a Sir Charles Frossard House or at any polling station before 20:00 tomorrow. You will need the ID verification form that came with the postal voting pack and return envelope though.

The advance polling stations at Styx, Les Maingys, and Styx are open again today until 20:00.

Tomorrow will see multiple polling stations open across the island for the official election date.
