The latest Greenhouse Gallery exhibition is here!
Opening next Friday the 27th of March and running through until the 14th of June,’ Making an Honest Living’ is a celebration of the growing industry in Guernsey, brought to you by local artists Emma Griffin and James Kail!
Guernsey-born painter and printmaker, Emma Griffin has been researching the Guernsey growing industry since the idea came to her in 2023, whilst she was invigilating an exhibition by Alberta Whittle, at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. Ballet D’Jerri: Witches
Next Thursday the 26th through to Saturday the 28th of March, the fabulous Ballet D’Jerri will take to the stage of the PRCPA with 3 performances of ‘Witches’!
In this richly textured double bill, Ballet d’Jèrri returns to Guernsey with one of the very darkest chapters of Channel Islands History. Deemed as the witch hunting capital of Atlantic Europe, sixty-five Jersey people alone were tried for witchcraft between 1560 and 1660.
Two world class female choreographers, Vidya Patel and Katya Bourvis dive deep into this historical moment, bringing it to life with their own distinct voices in a whirlwind of fractured narrative, emotion, abstraction, and breathtaking movement.
Guided by Jersey scholar and writer Dr Adam Perchard, they use this history to pose urgent questions about the time we live in now. Whose world might it be- The Witches’ or ours?
Performance starts at 7:30pm each evening. Get your tickets through the Performing Arts Centre.

Art at the Park: ‘Pink Granite, Wildflower’ by Bozena Pollock and Sally Cokeley
The National Trust of Guernsey’s Art at the Park Gallery in Saumarez Park is delighted to present a new joint exhibition by Bozena Pollock and Sally Cokeley entitled ‘Pink Granite : Wild Flower’. The exhibition runs from next Tuesday 31st March until Friday 1st May from 10am until 5pm daily.
“Collaborating on “Pink Granite : Wild Flower” brings together our different approaches to painting and observation. We chose Port Soif for its combined inspirations for us both – the distinctive horseshoe shaped beach and coastline, and the enclosing dunes that support a rich wild plant habitat. Meeting regularly at or near the beach, Bozena’s home handily being very close by, has made it a pleasure to work consistently on the project and being able to return to the same place regularly helped us observe changes over time and to deepen our connection with and understanding of the landscape. The project collaboration evolved naturally through a practical and generous sharing of ideas, material and research. In our work together Bozena focuses on painting large scale images that capture the overall landscape and atmosphere of Port Soif while Sally concentrates on the plants and their habitats and exploring the smaller details of the landscape. Together our combined perspectives create a more complete and layered response to the environment of Port Soif.” – Bozena Pollock and Sally Cokeley.

Royal Ballet & Opera: SIEGFRIED Screening
Next Tuesday the 31st of March, the PRCPA will once again host another fabulous Royal Ballet & Opera screening, starting at 5:15pm.
Raised by a scheming dwarf and unaware of his true family origins, a young man embarks on an epic journey.
Soon, destiny brings him face-to-face with a shattered sword, a fearsome dragon and the cursed ring it guards, and a Valkyrie forced into enchanted slumber… Moments of transcendent beauty and heroic triumph sparkle in the third chapter of Wagner’s Ring cycle, brought to life under Barrie Kosky’s inspired eye following his spectacular Das Rheingold (2023) and Die Walküre (2025). Andreas Schager, in his much-anticipated debut with The Royal Opera, stars as Siegfried’s titular hero, alongside Christopher Maltman’s towering Wanderer, Peter Hoare’s treacherous Mime and Elisabet Strid’s radiant Brünnhilde. Antonio Pappano conducts, drawing out the unspoken tensions and ethereal mysticism of Wagner’s dynamic score.
