KPMG Castle Nights
Experience an evening of great local music and entertainment in the grounds of Castle Cornet this summer, with this year’s Castle Nights series, starting next Friday the 10th July at 6pm!
A variety of acts for all the family will be performing throughout the historic castle grounds in the South Battery, Outer Ward and Middle Ward to create a festival atmosphere.
Pack a picnic and soak up the atmosphere!

2D & 3D Design and Making workshops!
Starting next Monday the 27th of July, enjoy a series of 2D and 3D Design & Making workshops, using a variety of techniques on wood, metal, paper, card, plastic and upcycled objects!

TNT Theatre BRITAIN & ADG EUROPE present: MACBETH
What could be more thrilling theatre than MACBETH, performed in a castle? So, this year’s epic castle tour is Shakespeare’s most popular play. The play explores the corruption of power and its terrifying results, both politically and personally. But while the themes are profound and complex, the form is hugely entertaining: this is a thriller, a war story, a romance, a nightmare, a horror story and a most powerful presentation of the supernatural.
Two performances will take place at Castle Cornet next Tuesday the 28th and Wednesday the 29th of July, each starting at 7pm!
Please be aware there is no step free access to this performance. Do dress accordingly as the performance is entirely outdoors and the performers will continue in all weathers unless it becomes unsafe for them to do so. Seating is provided for everyone, but it is free seating, so you will not be issued a seat number. If you have specific needs or queries, please contact museums@gov.gg
Francois Cloete Recital 2026
Local organist François Cloete will be giving a harpsichord recital as a fundraiser for the Guernsey Harpsichord Trust (GHT), next Thursday 30th July from 6:30pm!
Titled “French Connections”, the recital explores harpsichord music in the French style by composers across Europe including François Couperin, Henry Purcell, and J.S. Bach. An extremely talented keyboard player, François is currently organ scholar at Westminster Abbey.
His performance will showcase the Trust’s recently restored Andrew Garlick harpsichord in its full splendour. One of the objectives will be to encourage talented young musicians to take up learning to play the harpsichord. François has very kindly agreed to waive his fee for the concert but we are seeking donations of £25 – or more! – to help defray the cost of insuring and maintaining the instrument.
The concert will be in the Hall at Elizabeth College starting at 6.30pm and lasting for about an hour. We will be offering drinks afterwards when audience members will have an opportunity to chat to François and to inspect this unique instrument. His recital last year, when he performed J.S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations, was described as “An Evening of Pure Magic”. We confidently expect this year’s recital to be equally special. Enjoy the show!
Lisia Dance Company presents: Land & Sea
Next Thursday the 30th July, a double bill show with a mix of classical and contemporary dance inspired by our island’s coastal landscape comes to the PRCPA!
‘Land’ is an exploration of Guernsey’s coastline and the flora that adorns it during the bright seasons. Set to Spring and Summer from Max Richter’s Recomposed Four Seasons, the piece explores the different shapes and textures that line the cliff paths. The section ends with Richter’s uplifting ballad, Movement Before All Flowers, to look ahead and encourage hope through the darker months until spring dawns again.
‘Sea’ dives into Guernsey from an external perspective. The island has some of the largest tides in the world and some of the best beaches (not that we’re biased). Through the seasons of the year, we can see our coastlines in an array of conditions. We have explored alongside music that reflects water and the community around us, a compilation of accompanying music contrasting each other, just as nature can through time.
Lisia Dance Company is born from local dancers, bringing together their experiences and passion for dance to give back to our community and celebrate what we have.

Guernsey Street Festival 2026
The annual Guernsey Street Festival will be returning to St Peter Port next Saturday the 1st of August, celebrating all forms of street performance including, but not limited to, music, art, theatre, dance and crafts!
The Guernsey Street Festival LBG is a “not-for-profit” organisation committed to the promotion of community spirit, the encouragement and showcasing of local talent and the celebration of visiting artists and street entertainers. We aim to create a platform for performers and artists of all genres, skills and ages to promote themselves to the people of Guernsey and to promote Guernsey to tourists and visitors.
