Aurigny will be flying directly from Guernsey to Alicante, Porto, and Nice again this summer – along with Bastia for the first time ever.
Bastia is the principal port and principal commercial town of Corsica, a French island that lies between the French Riviera and the Italian coast.
There will be direct flights there on Saturdays between the middle of August and the middle of September, with direct flights to Porto on Saturdays in May and June, Nice in June, and Alicante in July and August.
Aurigny said it chose these destinations for this summer’s direct flights after more than 1000 people cast votes.

“We’re pleased to offer more direct connectivity to Europe’s gems in 2025, following on from the success of our Genoa route,” said Sudeep Ghai, Chief Commercial Officer at Aurigny.
“Our survey of islanders reaffirmed Alicante, Nice and Porto’s popularity, thus making a comeback for the summer season. We’re also delighted to be able to deliver the most demanded destination, and a first for Aurigny – Bastia in beautiful Corsica, for the peak summer season.
“At Aurigny, we remain committed to enhancing direct access to and from Guernsey while delivering dependable lifeline services to and from the UK.”
The 38 direct European connections will operate in Saturdays between 17 May and 20 September, with some seats available from £159 per person, each way. There are also a handful of seats left for the Genoa flights in April and May too.
Aurigny says these services won’t replace any of the (3,618) existing flights over the same period, including its lifeline services to/from the UK.
The European flights all operate on Saturdays because that is the lowest activity period across its network. The additional flights will be conducted by existing crew and aircraft that would otherwise have gone unused.
Aurigny is also claiming a marked improvement in its on-time performance rate after 91% of flights departed within 15 minutes of their scheduled departure time in February.
