Passengers and staff won’t be able to book or manage flights using the system from 18:50 this evening until 14:30 tomorrow (22 June).
The States-owned airline issued an email notice to customers yesterday evening advising on the downtime.
Aurigny says the major upgrade to its systems will allow for interlining and code sharing with other airlines including British Airways and Emirates in future.
“The system migration is another step in our plan to future-proof Aurigny and to expand our working relationship with [other]… to provide easy connections for our customers,” Commercial Director Malcolm Coupar said.
Passengers who need to make urgent bookings or amendments should do so as soon as possible.
Aurigny apologised for “any inconvenience and will have customer service staff assisting passengers at the Airport desks if they have an urgent need for help”.
It asks that “only essential or emergency contact is made during this exceptionally busy period for the team”.
