The latest case numbers, updated yesterday, showed there to be 356 known active cases – down from 366 – with 11 new cases found in the last day and 21 people recovering from the virus.
It was only the second day since the beginning of this wave of the virusthat overall case numbers have dropped.
Cases of community seeding have slowed in recent days, with just one unexplained on Monday, however there has been a renewed call for vigilance after it was confirmed that the more transmissible Kent variant of the virus is in the island.

Last Saturday marked two weeks since the island went back into lockdown following the identification of four unexplained cases.
It was also the first scheduled review of the current lockdown measures. It did not lead to any measures being relaxed, however a further review was pencilled in CCA members’ diaries and took place yesterday.
At 13:00 today, the States will announce whether there will be any changes, as well as providing updates on current case number, the hospital situation and the decision not to publish the names of businesses who claim payroll support.
