Visitors and islanders can now book sailings with Brittany Ferries up to 7 November next year.
This comes following the publication of its high-speed timetable, which will come into effect from this November.
The new timetable is largely the same as this year’s, with departures to Poole six days a week and daily return sailings to St Malo. Meanwhile, sailings to Jersey remain restricted to one per week.
Paul Acheson, Sales and Marketing Director, said: “By maintaining a familiar timetable, we are providing customers with the consistency they value while continuing to support Guernsey’s visitor economy.
“Morning departures from St Malo with evening returns to France have proved particularly popular with both visitors and islanders, alongside our morning departures to Poole and afternoon return services.”
Wider network
Islanders can also access Brittany Ferries’ wider network at a reduced rate.
Passengers receive a 30% discount on onward sailings when booked with a Channel Islands crossing, opening up routes to Spain and Ireland.
For tourists coming to the island, Guernsey is bucking a travel trend of last-minute bookings.
Brittany Ferries say it is seeing people book further in advance and more people staying overnight.
It said this is a result of a deliberate strategy, in partnership with Visit Guernsey, to broaden the island’s appeal and turn Guernsey from a day-trip destination to a holiday destination in its own right.
Mr Acheson said: “These statistics indicate there is scope for us to continue to promote the island beyond our core ports in France, in addition to developing weekend and longer breaks from the UK mainland.”
