The AGC have invited all those from across Guernsey’s third sector, but advise early registration for the October event as spaces are limited.

Those attending can look forward to lectures and discussions on Artificial Intelligence, Digital Marketing, and better ways to raise money, with a host of speakers from across the UK.

Wayne Bulpitt is Chair of the Association of Guernsey Charities.

“The event will offer a dynamic mix of engaging panels, workshops, and networking opportunities, all focused on improving the impact of charities,” he said.

“It is open to all local charities, regardless of size or sector. It’s exciting to offer a platform that brings fresh perspectives and fosters collaboration within our amazing non-profit community. We hope to inspire and empower the attendees.”

The event’s Keynote speaker is Joe Saxton.

With a huge list of accolades indluing being an Award Winning Writer, Consultant, researcher and wilder, although he’s most well known for being the Chair of the Association of Chairs, which is the umbrella body for Charity Board Leaders.

He was in the top ten of the most influential people in UK fundraising, every year for its first decade, including top of the poll on four occasions. He was named one of the most influential people in voluntary sector communications by PR Week, and has twice been named as one of the 1000 most influential people in London by the Evening Standard newspaper.

After the keynote speeches, there will be smaller breakout sessions with topics including changing technology, corporate fundraising streams, grant applications, diversity, motivational leadership, and whether or not gala dinners are worth it.
