There were 25 new cases identified on Friday, 46 on Saturday and 37 on Sunday. Among the new cases, 47 are symptomatic community cases, eight are through community surveillance, 47 are contacts of a known case and six are travel related. Over the same period, 39 people recovered.
The latest figures – released by the States today – show that Guernsey and Herm have 281 known cases, Sark has two cases and Alderney has three cases.
There are currently 30 people who are contacts of a positive case and have received ‘stay at home’ requests.
Before the increase in cases over the weekend, Dr Nicola Brink, Director of Public Health, replied to concerned islanders and asked them “to hold steady and work together”.
