Two cyclists were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries following two separate road accidents in Guernsey on Tuesday.
The first incident involved a bicycle and a car on the Route du Felconte in St Peter’s late yesterday morning.
The male cyclist was taken to the Emergency Department for treatment to “minor injuries”.
The car driver did not suffer any injuries.
Last night, the emergency services were called to an accident on Le Vauquiedor involving a motorbike and a bicycle.
The cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries while the motorcyclist is not believed to have been injured.
The road was closed for more than three hours while police accident investigators were working at the scene. It reopened at around 22:30.
Police enquiries into both accidents continue.
