Like last year’s inaugural event the competition offers dancers the chance to perform as a soloist, in a duet, treble, quartet or in a group with a minimum of five members.

There will also be a battle style round towards the end of the afternoon, where competitors can show off their moves in a freestyle environment.

The event has been organised by Brandi Attewell of B-Creative and Avril Earl of the Avril Earl Dance and Theatre Arts Centre.

It’s being held at Les Beaucamp High School from 15:00 with tickets available on the door for spectators. The dance competitions will be judged by Michael ‘Bagsy’ Oladele who is a “House dancer, Locker and Waacker by trade.”

Bagsy teaches around the world and will also be hosting workshops in Guernsey tomorrow for students who want to learn more.
