In their appeal, Guernsey Police said a woman who was walking her dog – a miniature dachshund – was assaulted by another female dog walker, last Tuesday.
The assailant was accompanied by a third woman, with a third dog – a poodle.
All of the dogs were on leads, PC 116 Ormrod added.
She said the incident took place near Bunker Hill on L’Ancresse.
